I agree completely.

I wasn't comparing it to Stratovarius but i was saying that i value you it as much as the stratovarius cd's in my collection (elements pt 1 and pt 2) which are great albums in my opinion although very different to Ark.

Long live progression.

Ark probably had the best heavy metal' voice at that time; J°rn Lande. He has given up the band and is now the lead singer of the German powermetal outfit Masterplan. This dude really sing like an angel. He infact reminds me alot of David Coverdale. Anothe

I am ordered it and I am listening to it right now. Man!! a 5 star CD!! I moved  to get the whole album because last year I downloaded one of the best tune from the album ( Resurrection) man what a killer tune so I finally  got  to hear the whole album and I am loving it all ready. some part sound like Latin Prog-Metal. again 5 star. if you're  into Cristal clear metal hard rock albums this is  a most. It's a masterpiece. It's also a really eclectic mix of styles ... it has some quite heavy moments, but I would recommend it to anyone who can at least tolerate the (later) Porcupine Tree type of heaviness.

As a matter of fact I think that Ark - Burn the Sun is quite unique. I just meant that people who can tolerate the *heaviness* of albums like In Absentia or Deadwing won't have any problem with this album.Smile

I´m not a fan of it. ARK is too power metal for my taste... although I must admit, if you like that genre, it´s pretty top notch stuff
