New year, new tricks! The band is doing new material for the new album Symetria (release in autumn 2006) and having a short gig break.

Btw. German magazine, Rock Hard, gave Balansia 8.5 of 10! Symbiosis and our first ep, Hdrsf-1, will be released in february in Germany&middle europe by Nordic Notes (.de) ..so europe, here we come! More gigs will be added...

Great news!   It'll be interesting to hear if they'll change their sound somehow or continue on the same path as before.

I think there won't be any dramatic change in sound, however, as I notice a distinct process of maturation from Symbiosys to Balansia, I think we can expect a more focused album with tight production and I believe they will incorporate some new (for lack of a better word) sound or edge to their sound. ANyway I bet it will be good to my ears.

The couple of their previous tracks I have heard are excellent - Jahwarp and Modus Operandi Hermetik. In the vein of the Ozrics, but a bit harder edged and less synthy. Could well be checking out this release!

Also, in a similar style are Taipuva Luotisuora (sp?). There is a lot of free stuff on their website worth listening to.
