If Tool is included in the archives why shoudn`t Rammstien. One of the best industrial bandsn ever. They blow Tool out of the water!

Just because the music is political/ in another language from the one you're speaking in, does NOT make it prog Vibrationbaby.....(nice name).

I know! How about we invite Seether and Creed into the forums too?? *giggles like a little girl and gets knocked out by a flying chimpanzee*

Rammstein Prog??? Absolutely No way!

Don't get me wrong I really do like them and several other so called Industrial bands (Skinny Puppy, Einsturzende Neubauten, NIN among others) but I would not call them progressive. Maybe Einsturzende, but not the others including Rammstein. I would say that they are Heavy Industrial. As for Tool, I think they are borderline progressive at best and I also like them. But that's my opinion!

Discipline is never an end in it self, only a means to an end.

He cant even spell their name right and he wants to add them in the PROGarchives..... Sorry man but I've listened every single song of them (my best friend is crazy about them) and they dont seem to have not even one similarity with tool. I admit they are nice to listen to but does this make them prog???? I agree you may argue that tool is prog but Rammstein have nothing to do with it. NOTHING

Oh and can you all stop just for a few days, take a break, from saying that one band owns an other. Its one of the most stupid things ever!!!!!!

Compared to many of the so-called Prog Metal bands on this site, I think you've got a point, Vibe - I'm thinking particularly of "Engel" on "Sennsucht".

I'm sure many industrial fans would tear you apart for this (sounds familiar, doesn't it?). As for me, I haven't heard much Rammstein, but what I have heard definitely isn't prog. It's quite annoying, as well. The only good thing I noticed was that they're tight - but then again there are lots of bands that are as tight or tighter, and that play more technical music to boot.

I am not a fan of them, but based on their music that I have heard there is no reason to include them in the archives.

Although I don't think Rammestien is nearly as good as Tool, they are a really good band, but progressive?  I don't know.  But they are really good.

Rammstein are bad taste come alive in a band. Their flirt with Nazi-aesthetics is disgusting, IMO. Prog? Certainly not!
