I know we're a bit behind here Erik, but that's ridiculous!LOL

The programme is the "Classic albums" series one, well worth seeing if you don't have the DVD.

It's the UK's 'forward backward' principle, isn't it  ?!

Yep most of this series is a repeat, except for one new album. Did anyone see ther Night at The opera one a few weeks back? Brilliant!

^Yeah, I saw that one... I think it showed what a talented group Queen were, also what an exceptional guitarist Brain May is!

Hey

More importantly who saw/missed the first part of Folk Britannia on BBC Four last night (repeated in the ealry hours of Saturday): long snippets of  Davey Graham, Bert Jansch, Richard Thompson (hadn't realised he stuttered), Pentangle, Strawbs, Fairport C, Steeleye Span, Sandy Denny. And then to cap it, the full performances were then shown on Folk On Four immediately after the first showing.

Yeah, I saw that too. Very interesting program. I love the way all those vocal tracks came together. It showed what good a musician Brian May was (although I'll never like his guitar sound) but also what a vocal genius Mercury was. If anyone needed reminding...

I liked the making of Motorheads Ace of Spades album some weeks later too. That was more amusing and nostalgic than anything else..

Ultimately bored by endless ecstasy!
