Just got this record from a local prog strore. The store owner (he owns and runs the small, somewhat hidden store) said that i should give it a try coz their music is very technical, and judging from my past purchases, it will directly fall into my liking... and it did!.

These guys make great and insane music. Kinda reminds me of Spiral Architect.

So far, my favorite track is "Words For Nerds"...

so if you dig Spiral Architect, Messhuga, Andromeda (and other Technical/Math/Spacey) progmetal

this one is for you!..

comments? thanks!

Here you have my review of an album, been listening to it a lot of times and I can't say I have changed my mind. I've got an album from Spiral Architect also, and it in the same genre. Sorry to say but it's not my cup of tea.

SPASTIC INK Ink Complete progressive rock album and reviews Progressive Metal

3 stars   DREAM THEATER with a more jazzy sound on high gear? Or AL DIMEOLA in a more modern and heavy style? It certainly is fast enough. A screaming guitar and lots of double bass drum dominate most of the album. These three guys make a lot of sound, and they’re doing it in a professional way. The tempo is constantly shifting with extreme complexity. Technically an interesting album, but it sounds cold, I would like to call it high speed progmetal. Recommended to guitar fans of SATRIANI, VAI and ZAPPA. The booklet is giving some information about how the tracks were made.
We're only in it for the music!!!

it is more proper to write that Spiral Architect reminds you of Spastic Ink , meaning that SI are older

Spastic Ink's main influence is Watchtower (I think Jarzombek was in Watchtower)

S. Architect's main influences are Watcthtower and Psychotic Waltz

and both these bands are excellent
