From Cuneiform Records: Shawn PersingerShawn Persinger, leader and guitarist of BOUD DEUN, has a new band, PRESTER JOHN. And what a band it is. With Steve Zieminski on drums and Joe Casillo on bass the trio is turning into something quite wonderful.

One of my UG students was playing Ben Folds Songs For Silverman to me last autumn , and I ended up with a copy. V good piano-accompanied vocal rock, interesting lyrics. Elements of Jackson Browne, Warren Zevon, Billy Joel and a hint of Tom Waits. |
