totally off-topic – and they probably have no place
here at all – but i saw them play live on monday and
they put on an absolutely stunning show – one of the
finest, intelligent, iconic, influential and, dare i say,
progressive groups that exist – anyone else care to
agree?

PS: their live band now features dean menta,
formerly of faith no more, on guitar.

snow dog – they don't belong here at ALL but it is the
easiest to properly expel them from the prog lounge
---

ginnyman: the played the entirety of the new album in
the first hour of the set (did they go see the
marillion-marbles tour???) and it sounds great –
there's some really quirky stuff on there – plus, the
films on the back screen (both ron and russel mael
have a degree in film studies and cinematography)
were excellent!

I remember the album Big Beat (a friend had it), and songs like Screwed Up, I Like Girls, and Throw Her Away and Get a New One, Everybody's Stupid.  Fun stuff.  We could use a lot more music that doesn't take itself so seriously.  Yes, humor can belong in music...
