A few months back I found an original early pressing of Foxtrot by Genesis in mint condition complete with original inner sleeve.

I'm giving it some exercise Cool

A member of Gen Y here (but not a proud one), 27 y.o, but doesn't like the idea of downloading music. I prefer physical music media, such as CD or vinyl, or SACD. I have a surround setup which plays DVD audio, SuperAudio CD, and regular CD, but I'm interested in hearing some stuff on vinyl. My dad found a box of old LPs while digging around under the house.

Unfortunately, our record player was out of action a long time ago. Can one still buy a decent turntable these days? I'd like to put some of his records to good use. And perhaps buy a few LPs of my own. There's a shop near us with a pretty large selection of new vinyl pressings, of artists old and new.
Hello, mirror. So glad to see you, my friend. It's been a while...

I don't know how that got posted 3 times, unless, of course, I hit the post reply button 3 times
SORRY ABOUT THAT

Like everyone else, we don't use the turntable as much as we used to
I still play "McGear"  scratchy and all, because the CD version from FruitGum 2000 is so over-compressed
it oozes with static. Cool, huh?
