they've got a pretty good sound, i only have Andy Nogger, so yeah, that is number 1

the sound changes after Andy Nogger, more pop but sorta Steely Dan meets Alan Parsons?

Good catchy stuff on Let It Out, Weiderhoren and Flyday, as they were touring with English bands around Andy Nogger and incorporated a more melodic sound. Very diverse albums some to pop, some really good space and prog and fusion.

Live '75 is almost unbelievably good, I remember bying it (vinyl), and the guy in the record store assured me that this was one of the best albums of all time! (and he seems to know all about everything, and is a bassist himself). The way they recreate the studio-versions into almost entirely new pieces filled with lots of tight experimentation and superb mucisianship and the way the joy of playing just shines through the loudspeakers is really amazing, Kraan at it's absolute peak! And Helmut Hattler really is a bass-player that deserves much more recognition!

As Aaron and Micky I just got Andy Nogger. Like it a lot. This band deserves more attention.

I saw them play a fantastic gig supporting Van der Graaf (on their first gig as VdG) at The Chalk Farm Roundhouse February 1977. They did a 20 minute version of Holiday am Marterhorn.
The next day i went up to HMV,Bond Street and bought Andy Nogger.
