Well i'seen that there is a genre of jazz/rock-fusion in the list of
genres so i'll recomend some stuff that are Very good so that they
might be in the artist list for everyone to know.
Cab - A fusion trio (bass/guitar-synth/drums) by acclaimed musicians
like Bunny brunnel - Bass Dennis Chambers - Drums Tony Mcalpine -
Guitar/synth they have 3 albums it's rather simple kind of fusion
focused on improvisations over varius riffs and chord changes.they have
won grammy awards for their work.
Greg Howe - 3 albums.....Introspect,Hyperacuity, Extraction My Personal Fav. of the fusion genre
Dave Weckl Band all the stuff he made with them....
Bela Fleck & the Flecktones Originaly a trio Bass/Banjo!!/drums and
then they added some sax and steel drums.their music is a mix of
bluegrass/jazz/ethnic/fusion/ feat. the maybe best Bass player today
Victor Wooten on bass.
I recomend these cause i believe that they are of the best in fusion genre .otherwise i wouldn't bother u with something.
Check em out!!!! Thanx for the time.

Missed your original mail but now catching up.
We're working of adding some of the big names of jazz rock at the
moment, Jan Hammer, Jerry Goodman, John Abercrombie and Pat Metheny
(and group) added recently - probably John McLaughlin next.
Wouldn't argue will your proposals - CAB has been up before (hey you
missed Brian Auger - but so did the so called best Hammond player
poll!!). Have 3 or 4 Greg Howe albums myself, but think several
other guitarists should be in before him - unless you would like
to put the details together for submission - this is the quick
route in). Alas the 3 albums heard of the Dave Weckl Band
have never fired me up, although one of those major session
drummers in the world - I prefer Gary Husband, Simon Phillips,
Chad Wackermann and Vinnie Colaiuta . Bela Fleck & The Flecktone, I
would support although at least one collaborator here is less
enthusiastic.
Always keen to discuss jazz rock fusion.
