I just got the release "Phase V" by 35007.  They are a psychedelic space rpck band I can only describe as a mix of very hard edged Ozric Tentacles and Pink Floyd.  I'm obviously finding it pretty awesome and wonder if anyone else has experienced them, for it is an experience.

Nope, never heard of them, but that description sure as hell has my attention!

Sounds like a band we'd be dying to share the stage with.

I found their website, but they don't appear to have any audio clips up there.

Any idea where I could get a taste of what they sound like?

Figures, they're from the Netherlands. *sigh*

Why have I not moved there?

I don't have any idea where you could hear some samples.  They definitely are prog, at least their last release which is all I have, and should be on this site.  I don't know why it's been moved too the "Non prog music" forum.  Sorry.

There's quite a few targets of that kind there, from what I understand.

Wooden shoes don't sound too comfy, however.

Ah, found an MP3 here.

Click "Mp3 Jukebox", and they're the 3rd in the pulldown list.

It's only 56kbps and 22,500kHz sample rate, so the sound quality's not so hot.

But it gets the point across.

These guys are pretty cool... actually quite reminiscent of early Porcupine Tree.

If you dig these guys, you might dig us too! I've got the link to our site on the "www" button at the bottom of my posts, if you're interested...

Oh yeah, and we're on this site, under Psy/Space Rock

Empathy,

I went to the site you found them on and the mp3 frpm the Phase V album is definitely the mellowist from the album.  I can see how you find them similar too early Tree, but the rest of the album is much heavier while keeping the ambient vibe.  I just figured out what you meant by the www button, duh on me, and will be checking your band out tommorow.  I'm going to hit the sack now.  Peace.
