Harmonium, I just listened to the sample track Autumn from 5th Season, and it is beyond ridiculously good.
Highly recommend |

You mean Harmonium's Depuis L'automne right? Yes it is excellent indeed, but not even my favourite track on the album!!!
That happens to be the almighty, extremely emotional Progressive folk classic Histoire Sans Paroles ... 17 minutes of joy and sadness that you'll never forget |

I bought the second and third albums from www.amazon.ca and the total cost, including *surface* mail, to the UK was around GBP 25. I ordered on March 18 and Amazon Canada said to expect the two CDs at the end of May but they actually arrived on April 13.

Cinq saisons is not very expensive, i ordered it for 12.5 euro at NLstore (an online store in the Netherlands).
Histoire Sans Paroles is a fantastic song, the rest of the album is also very good. |

HARMONIUM .... I have known them since the mid 70's. Their music is a mix between progressive and folk. Mostly recorded with acoustic instruments. Guitar, Piano, Bass, Flute, etc ..... Very melodic, very emotional .... and very easy to appreciate for all of its delicate subtleties. At times, they will remind you of a French version of Supertramp. In fact, Roger Hodgson has always stated that he loved the music of Harmonium. Their first two CD's are usually priced under $10 here in Quebec, and are readily available everywhere. The third one (double album) is more expensive and not always easy to find. The band used an orchestra on their 3rd and final album.
