The italian leader of the 70's progressive music movement will be touring Canada in 2005. The band is tentatively scheduled to play at Hamilton Place, Ontario,  on July 11th and is exploring a date in Toronto for July 10th.

Concerts are also being scheduled for Montreal and Quebec City  for July 13th and 14th.

Tickets for the Hamilton show will go on sale on March 1st, 2005, and the first 25 persons who contact [email protected] to order their tickets will be entitled to receive the new PFM CD ( to be released in May 2005 ) signed by the band.

PFM's delicate sound has been described as lyrical and romantic with melodic compositions. The instrumentation is superb highlighed by ethereal mixes of guitar, synthesizer, violin, flute and signature vocals. "Per Un Amico" , "L'Isola Di Niente" and "Storia Di Un Minuto" are all virtual classics of progressive music with influences from early day King Crimson and Genesis and yet uniquely PFM!

PFM's new studio album is ready to go for a year now, and for whatever reason Sony Italia hasn't released it yet. Looks like it will get available very soon though. (Hopefully it will be better than Serendipity (2002). Ulisse (1998) was better. Certainly not the kind of prog that we got used to in the 70S, but still had a few great moments.
