A few very good songs and a lot of average ones. A very good female lead vocalist. None too progressive. They sometimes performed together with Mostly Autumn.
IMO this band is much more interesting.

Pleasant Celtic rock, similar to a more symphonic Clannad. Not really progressive, although they're usually classified as such.

As I know they disbanded a year or two ago. Rachel Jones is a good singer,
but IMO their music is pleasant but not essential.

They're plenty Prog, as much so as Mostly Autumn. Delicate Flame of Desire has some  great tracks on it.

I wouldn't really call Mostly Autumn prog, either. Catchy melodic rock with some atmospheric Floyd-ian instrumental textures and a few extended passages, but ultimately far too safe and derivative to be truly progressive.

No longer defunct ... they've been working on a new cd for some months with a new vocalist named Lisa Fury.

I've heard of Karnataka before. They seem like a ban I want to check out. I need to listen to more folk music.

They are a decent enough band not very prog orientated well at least in the way I understand prog . but are not pop either ...  A smooth easy listening band with some folk leanings  in the vein of Mostly Autumn.   Particularly good female vocals and well written songs perhaps lacking in artistic freedom to some degree thats either a good thing or a bad thing either way it works well in this case for Karnataka I believe.
