Yeah, I've made a bunch of recordings... such as a single file recording of Garden of Dreams (clocking in at a little over an hour), a 1 single file recording of Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence (a little over 42 minutes), single file versions of The ConstrucKtion of Light and Larks Tongue in Aspic Part IV, and a 21:12 live version of 2112 (from the Different Stages album).Wink
Are you going to post the result of the Wings synchronization on here?

It's the only full live version of 2112 available, but I cut out about 15 seconds of crowd fade out (because at the 21:12 mark it is essentially silent) because it would be cooler to have a 21:12 version of 2112.Wink

I could do it using Audacity, but I won't be home for 12 hours. If it hasn't been posted by that time, maybe I could do it

Man thats cool. I had a feeling that the songs were linked in a way, but I didn't even stop to think that they could be overlapped. I just used Audacity to overlap them and I can't stop wondering at this. Damn thats so wicked. How did you figure that out Zitro?

Was there any point in posting this sarcasm.

OK, since I'm useless with PC's I'll wait for someone to do some trickery and get it all onto one track and post it here. I'm interested to see how this works.

If this is the best they could come up with for a mediocre album.....

Actually, it's not all that hard to conceive.

1.  Write a song and add some spacey filler tracks.
2.  Excise spacey filler tracks and split in half.
3.  Make spacey filler tracks separate tracks on album.
4.  Make people think you are a genius for doing a simple cut/paste job on your album.

Guys, this is nothing to really marvel at.  In planning, it probably took next to no effort to do this.

To reply to the person telling me how I figured it out, I didn't. A guy started posting everywhere about this secret (with copy/paste) and I read it. Check "ratemymusic"

Will it be legal if I record the two parts playing together under one audio file and upload it for easy listening for the archive members? Seems easier that way, plus, who hasn't bought the album yet?
