They (Syn) played a promotional gig at Vintage Vinyl in Fords, NJ earlier this year...the staff reports that he is a wing-nut of the highest order...

Heck the announcement is so short and terse you wonder what's happened!
Sigod and me saw the Syn at The Marquee last September and they were good; made a good album too; but it was Steve Nardellis idea to reform the band, not Chris Squire. At one stage Pete Banks was involved but he got the heave-ho and was very bitter about it.
Shame about the split. Any (well founded) gossip greatfully received!!

Last summer Gary Husband wrote on his website (with photo too of the then band), that he was scheduled to be Syn's drummer - but he tells me somebody screwed badly wrt to work visas for the USA, throwing schedules back by at least 6 weeks. So Husband didn't go and instead went back to writing and recording the eagerly awaited McLaughlin project and other piano projects
