KTZAT AHERET
SHESHET

I've noticed these 2  most important Israeli 70's prog bands are not in PA!

Ktzat Acheret (slightly Different)
Basically made up of three Israeli musicians:

I have the track list.

עטיפת האלבום קצת אחרת
שלישיית קצת אחרת בתמונה מגזינית מאוחרת יותר
The band members in the 80's

These threads are constantly looked upon by the Band Admission team which gathers the suggested bands and the info given (which is why I posted it here) and they are added to a list of to be added bands.
Now, we must tell them which subgenre they belong to, and then the appropriate specialist team will handle the addition.
If I am not mistaken, both belong in the symphonic prog category, isn't it so, Terramystic? If not please correct me.

Often jazzy (at least Sheshet) and not typical sympho. Let's say Art Rock?

So of course Ktzat Acheret was added to Eclectic quite some time ago, but Sheshet is still pending inclusion in the archives.  I haven't found much in the way of samples, but this site --> http://stevehegede.tripod.com/israel.htm has streaming samples of various songs, including one from sheshet's eponymous release.  It certainly is jazz-fusiony, jazz-folk-rock,  but it also reminds me of the Gentle Giant inspired band Et Cetera.

EDit: Incidentally, I'm trying to remember what the piano opening reminds me of from that Sheshet song... Gryphon..?  Goes to check.  Midnight Mushrumps.
