So, do you know them? And if you know them, do you like them?
I really like this band a lot (the latest album wasn't that good, ok, but the other ones are really great). It was the first band in my life I heard daily and I was... Hm... Ten years old... (?) when I started listening to them... Jay Key is a really good singer and the groove of Jamiroquai's songs who makes this band that special, is never missing. However, what do you think about Jamiroquai? And, if you like them, what are you're favourite songs? Mine are: 1.) Travelling Without Moving 2.) Too Young To Die 3.) Canned Heat |

Fantastic band! And - dare I say it - certainly progressive, at least on their early albums. not suitable for addition, but a great recommendation for all Fusion enthusiasts that keep an open mind.

Good band. They offer something different to listen to away from prog & the like. The thing I do like is that their music is so well played and has superb production. I don't have Dynamite but own all their other albums.

Dynamite is not as good as all the other albums. However, it is not
bad, but it is sometimes too much pop. But the song "Dynamite" is
really good...
However, Jamiroquai rules! |

Enjoy him - but his music and style first reminded me of Stevie Wonder
singing with early Chicago - then somebody told me about Tower Of
Power................. one of Jay Kay's sidemen suggest to me in
interview ToP is an influence.

What fun Jamiroquai is! I don't have any specific favorites, with a probable exception being Canned Heat (such a catchy song). I don't listen often, but it's always a plesant listen when I do. |

My non-prog favourite!! And yes I don't listen to non-prog bands all that much so I don't know very many...
Can someone recommend me anything similar?

Try "Earth, Wind And Fire"...
They don't really sound like Jamiroquai, but if you like Jamiroquai, you'll probably like Earth Wind And Fire either... |

From a prog (Jazz-Fusion) aspect I would recommend the first two albums - less poppy, more proggy!
