Some of you will remember Kevin Coyne, one of the more free spirited vocalists of the last 30 years. There is a simple expression of his demise at:

I have also just read that former Weather Report bassist, Victor Bailey  (who had the very difficult task of replacing Jaco Pastorius) is suffering MS, and is unlikely to be playing for much longer.

I heard today that DJ Tommy Vance died.

While not a devotee of prog as such, he did promote rock and metal, including some bands which appear on this site. His distinctive tones will be missed.

 but also a  of strength and hope for Victor Bailey, in spite of everything, illness and suffering are there only to be vanquished!

I've never heard of Kevin Coyne or Tommy Vance, but a death is always a waste .
