I dont understand how I got 8 votes.....however the most fanboyish person I have ever encountered on this site was, conversely,a girly.
Threefates has a devotion to ELP that borders on the manic. She doesnt post much these days because she cant cope with mixing it with the lads....

Yep.

Another example - BaldFriede and Pierre Moerlen.

Also, what is a 'Biggest Fanboy...' poll without Valarius? Although I never saw him flame anyone in defence of DT, so maybe this disqualifies him...

I've even got two of the The Long Hello vinyls!

Only thing I've not yet done is meet them.
that doesn't proove anything. I got the same thing going on with Rush: 30 discs in my cd binder, 5 shirts, keychain, 2 posters, 3 DVDs, neil's books, a belt buckle, 2 stickers on my truck (one that is about 8 inches that says "rush" in the debut album font and the starman) and I'm starting a vinyl collection of their music.  I saw them live as well.

I'm not a "fanboy" of Pierre Moerlen, for the main reason that I am not male. And even if you want to call me a "fangirl", then please mention all the Neil Peart fanboys too. Pierre Moerlen WAS an extraordinary drummer; you don't win the Premier Prix du Percussion of the renowned academy of Strasbourg if you are not. The man has inspired and influenced my style of drumming more than anyone else.

^ fair enough. Peart definitely has his fair share of fanboys here. And I'm not questioning Pierre Moerlen's talent.

Re the 'fanboy' vs 'fangirl' thing, please read Tony's post I quoted.

EDIT: Although I cannot compare your devotion to Moerlen to Threefates' manic devotion to ELP. I apologise for this. I didn't read Tony's post attentively enough.

Oh come on Friede, methinks thou do protest too much!
Whilst I admit that but for you hardly anyone on the site would even know his name,()this is largely because at one point you seemed to mention his name every other post!
I think Friede you are the number one fanperson on this site...

^ 54754874384230 posts with 'Pierre Moerlen' as content in the 54754874384230 'Best drummer' polls on PA.

Still, not on Threefates' level...
