ANDREW CHALK is a fascinating experimental "electronic" artist whose work will ravish every fan of ambient music to experimental / post rock. His musical production features several projects, all released in a rather "abstract", "conceptual" dimension with an "immersive" approach on the listener.

"The Rivers that Flows into the Sands" provides a good synthesis of ideas developped by Chalk, including a deep "meditative" and "visceral"  atmosphere obtained by continuous sound forms, minimalist motifs and electronic loops. A PHYSICAL, REFLECTIVE AND PLAINTIVE MUSICAL "VOYAGE".

A must for fans of minimal / electronic music (Biosphere, The Halfer Trio...)
