How many have heard of this fantastic Venezuelan (sp??) band??

Again, another standout band that no one seems to talk about. I urge all Symphonic prog fans to check these guys out.

Please share your opinions Smile

I just discovered them about a week ago. I liked them. Some of it was very good, some of it didn't totally click (though it was mostly due to the vocals I think).

This is one of those bands who should get their vocalists sacked.  I mean, guy's vocal is good but it does not suit the music they play at all. All instrumental parts are brilliant, but vocals really spoils the pleasure for me. I'd give them 3.5 stars as they are now and 4.5 stars with no vocals.

I see they are classified here as progressive metal, but HwH suggests they are symphonic. Any thoughts?

The only album I heard so far is their first (or not?) eponymous album, and it has got nothing to do with metal. Symphonic is right description in my opinion. I understand that RC2 is abbreviation for Radio Clip 2 - maybe Radio Clip 1 was metal or something - but I am not sure about it at all.

Yes it is their first and only...at least to my knowledge. And i'm glad i'm not the only one who doesn't understand the metal classification.

Well, that can be true, but I allways though RC2 stands for a very famous and widely used encryption algorithm (link http://www.networksorcery.com/enp/data/rc2.htm )
