I videotaped the German show from TV, and it was quite impressive...none of that embarassment one gets from watching certain later ELP or Yes shows, these guys were in good form, fresh, and kicking out some serious music.

Yay!

Could anyone else issue a description of the German TV concert? Enthusiastic audience? Enthusiastic performers? Good camerawork? Any antics? etc etc

The Leverkusen concert is the one which is supposed to be released in the WDR Rockpalast series.

Enthusiastic? Yes! And it was Peter's birthday. Nov. 5th. Though Peter looked tired to me. But I can have a closer look on the DVD. The show was filmed by 3 or 4 cameramen simultaneously with a professional equipment! For instance they used a big kinda lift which culd be moved vertically and horizontally. One cameraman was close at Hugh hands all the time.

Great camerawork, big enthusiastic audience (concert-sized, not club), cool lights, pretty good performance (although there were shows I saw in '05 that were better; still, VdGG at 90% is better than most bands at 100%!!).
