A side-project of Martin Schirenc, better known for his work with Pungent Stench. They are filed under black metal most of the time, but I see them as a harder version of the PA-band Therion. I don't think they'll make any music in the future, as I can't seem to find much information on them on the internet.
I only have the copy of "With Vilest of Worms to Dwell", but that one is considered a gem by many metal-reviewers.
I'm afraid they will be dismissed, but when I'm not gonna try it, we will never know Wink

Very interesting band indeed!
Their music is highly innovative, and most definitely at least prog-related I'd say - more than Therion imho. I also own their debut album "Domus Mundi" which is even better than WVOWTD, I think.
I agree - they deserve a spot over here.

Jesus never managed to figure out the theremin either

Good to see another 'Dutchy' familiar with the band!
They've been influenced by more things than Therion, that's for sure indeed.
I don't like Domus Mundi as much as I like WVOWTD, but I have to give it a listen soon, as it's been a while.

I prefer Vilest of Worms... to Domus... but both are good albums of metal that tries to achieve a different sound of metal, thus the progressiveness of it.
If not progressive metal, at least prog-related.
I did not see it in the prog-metal chart though.
What do you think, Mike?
