He uses an online translator. If you tried one e.g. babelfish, you will soon see the sort of rubbish they come out with. Mandy is obviously a very knowledgeable fan of prog and other music.

Very uneven guy, IMO. Some of his polls are quite good, but also some of them is just WTF?? His posts are sometimes funny though.

Is it just me, or does he seem like a real character (in a good way)?  His polls are creative, to say the least, and the conclusions (if not the entireties) of his reviews are always a pleasure to read.  I've been visiting the site for a year or so now, and I don't think any member has made as big a contribution in such a short period of time as he has.

I must say, if I ever venture to Italy, I'd like to meet him and have a discussion about music.

Praises to the Mandrakeroot. Clap

you are Mandrakeroot.

I really wish I could make that claim, but sadly, no. Cry

at the risk once again of spoiling someone's joke............the root of the mandrake plant is usually bifurcated & (to some) resembled a homunculus.......it was said that the dying scream of the mandrake root, when pulled out of the ground, made men mad..........

Great work CRIMSON THING! The root's shape is said to resemble the form of a man. It is said to have emetic and narcotic properties [hopefully more of the latter than the former]...........AND I just go under mrgd!
Looking still the same after all these years...

Mandrakeroot seems to be a nice guy; a little bit mad.
(I also use sometimes an online translator but it sucks.)
