Neither.

A hut on a white sand beach on an uncharted tropical island would suit me just fine.

To quote the first episode of Arrested Development:

Lucielle Bluth (To Michael Bluth about Buster): "He's studying cartography."

Michael Bluth: "Really, I'd think that everything would've been discovered by now, by...you know....Cristopher Columbus, Magellan....NASA?"

Buster Bluth: Well, you can always double-check.

Damn I love that show. LOL

Hmmm... what kind of castle are we talkin' here... cold dark stone with wet walls and confusing halls and corridors... possibly a dungeon, usually grimy, torch lit? How about a floating coud castle made entirely of ivory? Or a super cool clifftop keep on a tiny island.... in the middle of the ocean...

I choose castle. So many possibilities.

I'd like a town house in Art Nouveau style in Brussels, like this one, called Hôtel Tassel, designed by Victor Horta in 1893. The picture is from the hallway.

But since it's not an option in the poll, I voted for Venetian villa.
