I believe they are Norweigen, and include members of many great black metal bands such as Vintersorg (from Vintersorg), Lars Nedland from Carpathian Forest and formerly Grim from Immortal (RIP .)

If anyone knows where I can get a copy of some Flute and Voice (Indo-Prog/Raga Rock) albums please PM me! Many thanks!

Indeed. They started off as a fairly straightforward black/viking metal band with Krystoffer Rygg (Garm) from Ulver on vocals, Ivar Bjornson from Enslaved on keyboards, the aforementioned Erik Brodreskift (Grim) from Immortal on drums, Roger Tiegs (Infernus) from Gorgoroth on bass, and their one consistent member, Øystein G. Brun from Molested, on guitar. They gradually evolved their sound and lineup, Simen Hestnaes (ICS Vortex) from Dimmu Borgir/Arcturus had a stint as vocalist and bassist, they grew more ambitious and proggy. Their current lineup consists of the aforementioned Andreas Hedlund (Vintersorg) on vocals, the aforementioned Lars Nedland from Solefald and Carpathian Forest on keyboards and Sprial Architect drummer Asegir Mickelson behind the kit (he also played bass on their most recent album), alongside Øystein G. Brun who remains their guitarist. If you're into more ambitious viking/folk-type metal they're worth a listen, I'm not such a huge fan of either album I've heard from them (Quintessence and Epic). Tough to argue with their personnel roster though.

I only have one of their albums ("Quintessence"). I like the vocal arrangements, they're different from a lot of the Nordic metal crowd.

Great band! I have all their albums. The ones I like most are 'Quintessence' and 'Epic'. Lars Nedland's other band Solefald is highly recommended too. |

Ah, Borknagar. If you enjoy them you might like an album called The Sham Mirrors by Arcturus. Excellent style of music :)
