I usually order 3-4 a month and buy 1-2 in regular record stores, so it gets about 5 a month.
How many do you buy?

Already a thread about this:
Anyway, I buy 11-15 CD's a month usually. Sometimes more.
BTW, Alex, why are you so obsessed with how many CD's people have/buy a month etc? Edited by Bj-1 - June 16 2006 at 09:42 |

Usually 5-10, sometimes less, sometimes more. I've only started buying fairly recently (I started really buying a lot at the start of this year). I have about 50 CDs so far, which is pretty good considering I'm 16. Since the summer is approaching, I'll be working more and will probably buy a little more. I still don't see how anybody could get over 20 a month though.

It's fine- just get what your budget can handle- that's the important part. Mine's not nearly as big as it can be becase I save about 85% of what I make with my two jobs (for college) and what doesn't go to gasoline goes to CDs. I'm buying a lot now because when I'm a poor college student, I'll probably be only able to afford 1 or 2 a month at most.
But to answer the poll, I average about 7-8 a month, but it's not rare to get up to 12 or 13 (especially with those darn Amazon.com sellers!).

averaged out about 6-10,although I've slowed down the quantity since I've been getting expensive imports, so I don't have much cash left for more, sometimes I might get around about five on one purchase bacause of dirt cheap sales, which is good if you are exploring Jazz, blues and Classical legends. In most stores their practically giving away Duke Ellington albums. I get second hand stuff cheap as well; an affordable way of being introduced to a group, I got Univers Zero 1313 and Gong CDs. Their is just no other way going about it if you want as many CDs as I do.

I spend tons of time listening to music, and getting around 6-10 CDs a month suits me fine (although 10 would be a good number I'd say). |
