Anyone ever heard some jazz band from brasil or who knows, that fusioned bossa with jazz or progressive?...that would be interesting.
 
If anyone heard something similar to that, i would like to check that out..

Mmm I dont know much about Bossa, I dont have any idea how can sound that.

Not exactly Bossa Nova, but our wonderful moderator Atkingani introduced me to the excellent Brazilian band True Illusion, who play very latin flavoured jazz fusion and do so superbly. Utterly splendid, and well worth checking out - many thanks again, Guigo!

Bossa Nova and prog >> early Caravan comes to mind
let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword
