The Clash vs The Stranglers

        I love The Clash. I started with the debut, and "London Calling" has been one of my favorites since I bought it in 1979. At that time it didn't have the classic status it enjoys now. I too was taken aback by the hits from "Combat Rock," but there are some quality songs there as well. I have never heard The Stranglers, but from what I am seeing, I had better check them out.
