I know that many of you may find these artists as criminals of good taste. Let's see who is the worst of them. I know it has nothing to do with prog but I'm curious.

I hate the osmonds, mostly the song your love is like a yo-yo. If I listen to that song I start to swear and curse.

Bobby, don't know why he leads the pack, but I even found him annoying when I was tyke. (and the other Bobbies too, Vinton and Sherman).

For those of us that were kids in the late '60s/early '70s, there was a point when The Jackson Five, The Partridge Family, Glenn Campbell, and even Streisand were cool. Come on .... admit it ... just a little ... I won't tell.

Okay, Ill be honest. There was even a time when I thought The Osmonds were cool.

That's exactly what my father says. Some music is lousy but memories are memories, isn't it?

Perhaps you're young as me, I'm only 21. I first heard these infamous bands while scrutinizing the billboard top 100 of 60's and 70's decades and fortunately many songs were great. Too bad I had to bear some rubbish (ironically these lousy songs were on the first places). But in the overview, it was worthwhile. I'd recommend you to take a listen to some oldies now that you're prevented of what you should overlook.

I don't know. But the song seasons in the sun is terrible. I think it was a sort of cover from Jacques Brel (Who I respect).

It's not your fault, the song I referred to is from 1974, you must be too young to have heard it.

No, I know that one, Seasons in the Sun is a huge hit, but I don't like it at all. The trucker song is worse though. Disco Duck anyone?

That was C.W. McCall. The song was "Convoy." I recieved the album as a Christmas present. My Grandmother's interperetation of what the young people were into.

I'm starting to look a bit pathetic, aren't I?

I heard all of them. One of them did a song I really like (Bobby Goldsboro - Summer, thefirst time). The Partridge family gets the vote.

Terry Jacks wrote, performed and produced the fantastic Where Evil Grows (among  many great songs) when he was in Poppy Family. I love them.

A lot of progmetal hurts my proggy good taste a lot more than any of these simple and innocent sounding popacts from another time.

It would have to be something more contemporary like James Blunt or Daniel Powter to really get me annoyed and disgusted.

But don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
