Thanks Eetu, those 78rpm disc images are a bit hard to come by though. Still I suppose I could always put up a few Pat Boone, Max Bygraves, Al Jolson, Beethoven, Judy Garland, etc.EmbarrassedLOL

Not to great, but an acceptable 1989

Passion (Peter Gabriel) extraordinary

Jarre Live (Jean Michel Jarre)  good live album

Seasons End (Marillion) nice album

Sea Airs (Rick Wakeman) genuine piano work

Strange Angels (Laurie Anderson) as always, Laurie fit for big scales

Miracle Mile (Tangerine Dream) important soundtrack

Destination Berlin (Tangerine Dream) maybe not that important soundtrack

Rock Island (Jethro Tull)  not a very good album

Lily On The Beach (Tangerine Dream) nice album

[ABWH] Anderson,Bruford,Wakeman,Howe (Yes) decent

Presto (Rush) decent, though inclined to not so good

Black Knights At The Court Of Ferdinand IV (Rick Wakeman) horrible!

Earth Moving (Mike Oldfield) horrible!

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

I was born in a year that some of you guys keep saying that is the birth of prog. So, what about these great 1969 albums?
"In the Court of Crimson King" - KING CRIMSON
"Yes" - YES
"Stand Up" - JETHRO TULL
"A Salty Dog" - PROCOL HARUM
"Last Exit" - TRAFFIC
"Ssssh." - TEN YEARS AFTER
"Abbey Road" - THE BEATLES
"Let it Bleed" - THE ROLLING STONES
"Hot Rats" - FRANK ZAPPA
"Ummagumma" - PINK FLOYD
"Concerto for Group and Orchestra" - DEEP PURPLE
"Volunteers" - JEFFERSON AIRPLANE
"On the Threshold of a Dream" - MOODY BLUES
"Blues from Laurel Canyon" - JOHN MAYALL
"Hot Rats" - FRANK ZAPPA
"Beck-Ola" - JEFF BECK
"Blind Faith" - BLIND FAITH
... And the list goes on and on...
"He's a man of the past and one of the present"

And I go by the name of "Dinosaur" why? 1959 is why! Big smile

They even had bonus tracks way back in '59

Operation: Mindcrime - Queensryche
No Exit - Fates Warning
Talk Talk - Spirit Of Eden
...And Justice For All - Metallica
Seventh Son Of A Seventh Son - Iron Maiden
Keeper Of The Seven Keys - Helloween
South Of Heaven - Slayer
Danzig - Danzig
Even Worse - Werid Al
Them - King Diamond

and the best album of all:

Out Of The Silent Planet - King's X
