And I must say, his lyrics are so hilariously degrading, offensive, and ignorant that it actually makes the music good! Either Snoop is truly a terrible, terrible man or a genius! (And don't ask why I was listening to Snoop DoggEmbarrassed)

Snoop is a marginal talent with a gang background. His presence on television continues to amaze me.

Music? I think not. But, to each his own. That's my opinion, and I"m welcome to it.
Bring me my broadsword, and clear understanding.

I've never read his lyrics and very ocassionally listen to his music by making zapping on TV, but he seems to be talented, because he's on the top of Hip Hop ...

I don't understand him, either. He doesn't seem very intelligent, and certainly his lyrics aren't very articulate. It's mostly musical filler that was created to appeal to a young audience(that shouldn't be listening to that kind of music, anyway.)

Overall, I just don't get him.

YOU ARE PART OF THE PROBLEM.
STOP.
Here I'm shadowed by a dragon fig tree's fan
ringed by ants and musing over man.

Calling Snoop Dogg the greatest musician of all time would simply not be doing him justice.

^ Nor would it be doing the discpline of music any justice! LOL

All told, I do find Snopp Dogg to be a pretty funny dude.

I don't like his music (calling it that makes me cringe), but I do appreciate the more positive personna he has been conveying. He seems to be a pretty likeable guy.

I liked him as Huggy Bear.

I think he's neither a terrible man or a genious. I think he smokes a lot of pot, and very often don't know what's going on, or what he's up to. But I can't help to think that he seems somewhat charming and laidback.

Over land and under ashes
In the sunlight, see - it flashes
Find a fly and eat his eye
But don't believe in me
Don't believe in me
Don't believe in me

Though I don't agree with his music, he seems to be an okay guy.

Agreed. There should be a subgenre on this site for proto-proto-proto-proto prog.
Fire up the flux capacitor ! We're taking this Delorean through all four dimensions.

What is the future of prog ? Genesis reunion ? I'm not telling! That could upset the thyme/space continuum.
