I just got XM Radio.  Where can I hear prog?  The jamband/prog channel no longer exists.  I've heard Genesis, Gentle Giant and Renaissance on Deep Tracks.  Where else?

Yes it was a big dissapointment that they cancelled it. (read my post "prog music under attack") I called them and they gave me some lame excuse, & they also said that channel 76 "fine tuning" would have some prog stuff - (if you can suffer through the 80% of the other stuff on that channel first!). Depending what type of prog you listen to: I also listen to channel 77 - (Jarre, Ashra, Tangerine dream) & channel 84 - some ambient stuff similar to "musical starstreams". Of course if you like prog metal it will be on 41 & 42.

I wasn't happy about losing Music Lab either. It had too much of that jam band nonsense, but at least it had prog. Now it's only available online.
Bring me my broadsword, and clear understanding.

I just discovered that if you sign up online for XM(free with your radio subscription), you can get the progressive rock station.  I'm listening to a live version of Blackest Eyes by Porcupine Tree.  Cool!!

Too bad if you can only get it on-line (I usually listen when driving) I hope they get enough feedback to bring it back to regular programming. (at least it hasn't been dropped)
