What do you think of Annexus Quam?
I am currently listening to Osmose, which is a very nice psych and spacey like, somewhat stoned music, krautrock and very fitting my mood right now. How is their other one Beziehungen? |

I like them, but I have not grown a love for the band a this stage. As you said it is a nice album to relax to. But I really need to give it a little more attention. With regards to Beziehungen, I have been trying to find this for a while now. It defintately seems to be the hard to find of the two and also the harder listen.

Annexus Quam's Osmose is one of a handful of truly great Krautrock classics, notice the year of recording, pretty early on! If one likes OOF one might look to Agitation Free, Guru Guru, Jane, Dzyan, Aera, Missus Beastly, Secret Oyster, Thirsty Moon, Embryo and Burnin Red Ivanhoe, maybe Supersister, Wigwam or Krokodil, too! |

Of your list I know and heard all but Thirsty moon, which we mentioned earlier here and Burnin Red Ivanhoe - What is it like?
Oh, yeah, how could I have forgotten one of my favourite bands Krokodil, which I hope to add here soon?
A more bluesy type of band, but still very much in the psych field. Their album "An Invisible world revealed will be a revelation to anyone who likes this type of music (and if we mention Revelation, we msut also mention Virus who I hope Sean and I will add next week).

Burning Red is the same band as Secret Oyster but earlier in the 70's alittle rougher around the edges and standard fare, guitar, sax, keys. If you are not familar with Secret Oyster Straight to the Krankenhaus is a masterpiece and Thirsty Moon are comparable with them or Missus Beastly or maybe Embryo, Aera or Munju. |

Aera  . I've heard Humanum est this week and I found it a pretty good album. It does share some similarities with Out of focus. I remembered listening to one song of Humanum est and found similarities with Fly bird fly pt.2, but that doesn't mean is bad nor a copy.Also, I agree completly with what DallasBryan said about Annexus Quam. |

 to both of those bands. I knew Virus was going to be added. But I sort of just assumed Krokodil was on here, so I didn't know they were missing. I have An Invisible World Revealed, which I have been very pleased with.

Well it looks like my lobbying to M@X for inclusion of Out Of Focus is finally paying up.
The second album for me
 Assaf, Never Too Late is just as worthy of the other three albums (it was thei better-late-than-never released fourth album from 74)
Rats Roads is just leftovers from Four Letters: not quite as essential
Their eyboardist left to form another excellent band: Sahara

Munchen and Kobenhavn both had great sax-driven bands in the 70s, surpassing almost any sax work from Canterbury or Paris. Its influences spilt over to adjacent areas Black Forest, Franconia, Austria, Swiss, Alsace, Hamburg, Sweden and Finland. |

I have all but Rat Roads, and after serious consideration I voted for Monday Afternoon. However all 4 are of highest musical qualities, and there is not much difference in musical standards between them, as one might mistakenly think looking at the poll results.

I was pleased to find (and purchase) Wake Up! re-released by Second Life Records. Too bad there is no booklet and scarce information in it. But at least the quality is good enough for me.

 Sunrise is their better album if you ask me, but I am generally in a minority in this regard

Some people can only read and cannot write, it's sad but still better than vise versa
 .Seriously, 1 or 2 good reviews from reliable source will do better than 100 from passers-by IMO.
