In my opinion it has to be Syd Barret's death, That maybe will lead to a PF unity..
What's your opinion?

Semantically it may be (and may be not) right, but I would not put it in the same row with musical events.

Open-Mind has a good point, though. If anything can bring Pink Floyd back together it would HAVE to be Syd Barrett's death.

As I was so lucky to witness it (and don't start with that blasted review, please... ), I voted for Roger Waters's DSOTM tour. Syd's death was a very sad thing, but certainly no musical event.

Saw Waters in Roskilde, Denmark, and believe me: I will never forget it. I was pretty dissapointed with the singer in "Great gig" though. Anybody feel the same? Luckily that was the only negative aspect.They played DSOTM and all the classic PF tunes. Plus some of my personal, but less-known, favorites, like Sheep, Have a Cigar and Fletcher Memorial Home.

I have only read a review of Roskilde, but it was enthusiastic, and this newspaper is not exactly progressive magazine (they write quite a lot about this style) but they described it as the best performance of the whole festival, beating their favourite Placebo, Jack White and Franz Ferdinand

Waters was incredible! Followed by Sigur Rós and Tool. This was a very proggy festival indeed.
