Has anyone listened to this band or heard of them before?  A friend of mine suggested them to me as a progressive modern band with beautiful vocals and interesting songs.  I would like to hear some opinions of this band.  I have a Cd coming in the mail as a late Christmas gift so soon enough I will find out for myself.  I had never heard of them before until the other day. The Cd I am getting is titled "Delicate Flame of Desire"

Delicate Flame Of Desire is a great album. Unfortunately Karnataka recently split. A real shame because they were a superb band, and in Rachel Jones they had a singer of real quality.

Hi Richard, thanx for the info.  Do you know if they are forming another band or if Rachel Jones is going solo?  Any offshoots of the band?

Hi Madgo. I dont know about Rachel Jones, but some of the group including second vocalist Anne Marie Helder have formed a group called Panic Room so i understand. The bassist Ian Jones is working on a project called Chasing The Monsoon (This info from this months 'Classic Rock' magazine)
