Fripp for me thanks!

You've just had a heavy session of electroshock therapy, and you're more relaxed than you've been in weeks.

Other - Robert Wyatt. If possible, I would vote for Peter Hammill as well. Wakeman is lazy and gave up after just 3 albums. Fripp is a genius, but of methodical work, wich is as good as the other kind, intuitive and following nothing but emotional outbursts. Peter Gabriel is a brilliant and truly progressive artist (according to dictionary, not PA). Geniuses. The rest of the list are good players. Steve Howe... I don't know what to think about him without the rest of Yes backing up his work as a composer. Keith Emerson just spent too much time listening to Prokoviev and Ginastera piano Works. And also, those artists haven't really made any constructive work on their respective dyscogrphies, wich is shown by the fact that they tend to go flat and loose interest as they advence to our times. Peter Gabriel, on the other hand...

Other.....Kevin Gilbert.

A true musical genius and very multi talented. It was said he could play any instrument instantly after picking it up,even if he was unfamiliar with it.He was a very gifted lyricist and songwriter, and his skill in the studio(his own...called Lawnmower & Garden Supply),was unreal.

His list of credits for someone who passed away so young is amazing.

Frank Zappa was a true musical genius as a composer and band leader.  While not the greatest talent on the guitar, he was more versatile than just being a musician.
