I just got Gentle Giants DVD "Giant on the Box" Fantastic DVD, Fantastic band, but I'd have to say the Drummer John Weathers is the ugliest man in progressive rock.

Well, Weathers may be no Steve Howe or Geddy Lee, but I think he's distinguished-looking (like the GG cartoon face).

I've alway wondered if Weathers wasn't the inspiration for the GG cartoon face.

steve howe WAS a good looking guy back in the prime of YES....he was really not ugly, ive had many girls come in my room while i was watching YES DVDs and tell me the guitarist is cute.
while im on that subject, they think Justin Hayward is the KING of hot prog guys, just because ive got alot of prog around my room and theres quick to judge.
I think the drummer for GG is pretty ugly, but its also his manerisms and his damn glasses...ims ure if he tried harder hed look half decent.!
Rick Wakeman is probably the ugliest

lol i just searched this guy on google i didnt know who he was and he looks just like my dad! my dad shouldve been a prog musician he wouldve kicked ass...he was in a band called Secluision Fusion they were awesome

actuelly, if you ask me, the good-looking prog musician are an exception and not a rule. In fact I cant think of many of them... let's see... Greg Lake, David Gilmour,Tony Kaye, Ian Gillan.... and... Help me find others!

Rick Wakeman looks like a happy guy. Those "ugly" comments... realy, you should examine your soul very carefully. Anyway, all this musicians play great music instead of writting silly things like "those on the auddience are so ugly". Many people here say that Prog requires some kind of mental elevation, but I really don't see it.

lol just saying someones ugly doesnt mean you dislike them or anything. I just guess i dont put much weight on what rick wakemans thinks people think about his looks.
