Just ordered mine:

Racket Records Releases
For the Saturday night performance from Marillion Weekend 2005, the band decided to choose their favourite "up-tempo" songs to create a high-energy party vibe for the night.

Slower more atmospheric songs were then selected to end the Weekend on the Sunday night, creating a completely different show and feel.

Mixed by Dave Meegan Smoke (1CD) and Mirrors (2CDs) are the complete performances from these nights; and with the addition of Marbles by the Sea create a complete set of all three performances from Marillion Weekend 2005.

Smoke and Mirrors reminds me of an Arena DVD I once decided to buy.

I have it and it's OK. It's a lot better than Caught In The act, but still not sold on Sowden as a frontman. He just seems lost at times. Music sure is good, though.

Since I have both CITA and S&M, I'm set for Arena on DVD and probably won't invest in the future.

Well, according to the eWeb that I received this morning, the new disc is really shaping up. Do you subscribe to their podcasts as well? The latest one from Mark Kelly said that they're making a ton of progress and there will be around 16 songs....most are pretty much completed. Just going back in and cleaning up some, plus recording a couple of others.

Smoke and Mirrors won't be DVD, unfortunately. I wished they would do liek they did with Popular Music and release it on DVD, as well. The set lists look amazing. Have you checked it out?

Also, The Front Row Club will be releasing Hogarth's very first live concert performance from 1989 in Paris. Man, is that going to be crucial to have in my collection!

I love that set list on both discs. It'll be interesting to hear them pull some oldies out of moth balls. Especially "Holidays In Eden" and "Slainte Mhath".

Isn't that just a great song? Definitely one of Marillion's best album openers. And to see the performance on Marbles On The Road is truly spectacular. That and Brave Live 2002 are the best Marillion DVD's. Period.

Sure, for the Hogarth era in your opinion. I'd say that Recital of the Script is my favorite Marillion DVD with From Stoke Row behind that.Smile

I've seen Recital, and it is my opinion (and my opinion only) that both Brave and Marbles blow it out of the English Channel. Live At Loreley is even better than Recital, so it's not just an H bias.
