Apparently Neal Morse's next CD is going to be all covers: -

"One of the most astounding songwriters and multi-instrumentalists in contemporary progressive music, formerly of Spock's Beard. Compiling thirteen cover versions recorded during the sessions for his three solo albums, this fine collection contains seven previously unreleased songs. Neal's taste is impeccable, including covers of Badfinger, George Harrison (The Beatles connection looms large on this album), Cat Stevens, U2, The Who and David Bowie. Features numerous backing support, including regulars Randy George and Dream Theatre drummer Mike Portney. Features: "What Is Life", "Badge", "Tuesday Afternoon" and "Rock And Roll Suicide. Release due: SOON !"

^ I guess it will be much like the One bonus disc. As much as I'm a Morse fan - I doubt that it will blow me away.

I read somewhere that it's mainly a compilation of already released covers, and it will include the covers included in the One bonus disc, plus some other covers, maybe adding some more from the same sessions.

Dang. I don't like cover albums. I think he's in the studio recording original material right now though.
