I d like to know which album of the first four of Led Zep is prefered by other prog fans.

I hesitate between III and IV but the fourth is damn to brilliant so my vote goes for it.

yeah in any certain way they were sometimes prog related, in Led Zep III for example.
Moreover, they were such a so incredible band, they must be prog :)

I've always liked the first one the most. They are all great albums.

Hard to say. the one  like leastt is II

Majpr fan of their debut, loved most of III and IV is a very strong albim although I find side B a little tedious.

let's just stay above the moral melee
prefer the sink to the gutter
keep our sand-castle virtues
content to be a doer
as well as a thinker,
prefer lifting our pen
rather than un-sheath our sword

Almost a tie between III and IV.

III wins at the end.

IV was kept untitled and there was not even a single mention of Zep's names or anything else on the sleeve that indicated that it was a Zeppelin release due to the fact that Page was pissed cause III was, in his opinion underrated back then and not appreciated... and, i think he is right... III is the best..
