Elfonia subgenre

I have noticed since long time ago, but i remembered it today`s afternoon, that the Mexican band Elfonia is categorized under Prog Folk, i own their 2 albums and i can say that only a few of their music has some folkish roots and influences, the point is, that i`d like to know your opinion (of course if you know the band) about it, im pretty sure that they dont belong to Prog Folk at all, they are closer to metal, but also im sure that they dont have the necessary arguments to be categorized as prog metal, people compare them usually with The Gathering because of the voice, but actually the sound is quite different i think...also i have though that maybe a better place to them could be prog related, or maybe Art Rock? Thanks for your comments, also i `d like to make a poll in the prog polls section about which subgenre do people think Elfonia should be, but only if in this thread nothing is solved in the near future.

I only know Elfonia because of Marcela Bovio's involvement in the Human Equation by Ayreon. She has a beautiful voice, especially on Day 13: Sign, I ordered Stream Of Passion's album off the internet today so hopefully enjoy more of her soon.

I need to relisten to those 2 albums I have to make some informed opinion. As sson as I get to it, I'll post it here.
