I've loved this album ever since I was a kid, my uncle had a copy and I remember first listening to it when I was like 8 or 9; it was really one of those defining moments for me.  I particularly enjoyed the second half of the album, especially

I had another listern at the weekend.

The albums one failiure IMO is the orchestral parts are too dominant, and are at times innapropriate alongside the songs themeslves. The most striking example of this is from the 'Afternoon..' section onward

Although I have some of TMB albums and I'm not great fan of them, "The Days Of Future Passed" is an excellent album. I like that mixture of rock'n'roll and classical music, the concept of this album is very interesting - 7 parts of the day, my favourite

I just picked this one up yesterday. I love it.  THe prodution really sticks out and the album is quite enjoyable beggining to end.

This is the album that inspired TMB to go for it and, together with the Floyds, the early Softs, the Nice and a few others, put some intellectual drive and multicolours into the realms of rock'n'roll - give birth to prog rock.
