milk and sugar for me. Recently I found that a bit of kahlua makes it very tasty as well. I never drink coffee black except when I'm so tired I can't taste.

Though I like a good cup o' black, I think cream and a little sugar help contrast the bitterness of the coffee and bring out the flavor of it.

another good way of doing it is adding cinnamon shavings to the ground coffee beans before adding the boiled water. my dad and I used to experiment a little with things like that

Raw sugar dumped into the froth of a fresh cup of cappuccino is great...never get tired of it.

Sounds a little like a Mexican ciocolatte with sugared cinnamon, chocolate and hot milk.

I could never quite get used to the whole "sugar in coffee" thing, so mine comes with naught but milk.

But you're an Englishman-- you drink tea, and take your toast done on one side.

There's a brand on the market called 'Hot Java Lava'; "extremely strong & a high caffienne kick" - one of those through my capuccino maker with an extra double espresso shot thrown in for good measure.

God, I love my coffee!

Now *this* is the kind of exciting banter you veterans are yearning for. Don't tell me PA is going down in a hand basket when there's coffee to be discussed.

I mis-read this posting at first and saw "wee" and "ammonia" and thought, there's a man after my own heart when it comes to 'specialised coffees'.

On re-reading I realise I got it all wrong Embarrassed
