NEWS UPDATE November 4th, 2006:

The mastered versions are up for stream - http://www.myspace.com/heavyjack
---------------------------------------------------------------------

Okay so we finished recording our first album back in September, and though we ended up in a different place than where we thought we were going to be we are more than happy with the final product. What we ended up with is an album that was in fact recorded within the playtime, as all these tracks are first takes. There are no over-dubs, this is straight live off the floor 100% pure Heavy Jack. Though the songs that are currently up for stream on our myspace are not mastered, very soon that process will be finished. From there we are going to replicate our first 1000 run of albums and start work on an official website from where they can be purchased (for the awesome price of 5$).

The album itself consists of 3 single length tracks ~ Bushfire, Gloria, and Peace Soldier ~ and a lengthy 13 minute 2 song epic dubbed Bandits in the Night & Fly Away (Black Crow).

The cover art was drawn in about 5 minutes one day at an old job during a period of downtime. It was then photoshopped for color and texture.

The album is available to listen to at: http://www.myspace.com/heavyjack
The mastered version will be up soon

Cheers,

Adam Falk

No one knows what the purpose of it originally was or if it had a purpose at all. Personally I think it was a pure artistic creation from the beginning.
