Vytas Brenner was a german-venezuelan musician of the 70's whose works are an unique blend of venezuelan folk and symphonic rock... he also appears on the manticornio page which is dedicated especially to progressive in spanish..... I wonder if anyone has brought him up here

it's maybe a bit hard to get into because of the venezuelan folk elements.... but it definitely grows on symphonic progressive and progressive folk lovers... I really am doubtful whether in which of the two categories does it fit in... but it's definitely progressive... perhaps in symphonic it fits perfectly as well.... however... it still has a lot of folk elements

^^^
You're right.
Anyway, it has to go somewhere and the symphonic team agreed to my proposal of adding Vytas a few months back. They did not have to accept him, but they listened and determined he is suitable and I am glad they did.

Thanks for your interest.

Thank you very much.... by the way I'm glad to say that I found out recently that my father (Benjamin Brea) appeared on one of his album playing the soprano sax and some flute.... if I can recall I think it was in the "Amazonia" album... I was surprised!!!! he is mainly a jazz musician, although he is a session musician most of the time, playing with various popular artists in my country... It's nice to see his name here at least on one album... it works on my ego hahahahahah just kidding
