I voted influential producer, but if there was a vote for both influential musician and producer I would have voted that.

An anagram of one brain.
I voted for the first option. Others have been more innovative, such as Holger Czukay, but in the electronic/ambient field no-one of his generation has been more influential.

Cant decide. I'm still in training where Brian Eno is concerned. I've owned 'Ambient 1: Music for Airports' for many years, and occassionally give it a spin if I cant sleep. I'm not being critical there, it really is good for falling asleep to.. Just recently I purchased 'Another Green World' and 'Here come the Warm Jets' I'm tackling the 'Warm Jets' first, and it sounds like Roxy Music on acid; a kind of glam punk prog nightmare! I love it! I guess I know Eno the best as a producer, who has worked with too many artists to list, and was responsible for the 'Enossification' of Peter Gabriels voice on 'The Lamb..' Oh, yes and I like 'My life in the Bush of Ghosts' with David Byrne. It's a little patchy, IMO, but I love 'Regiment' that is a damn fine tune!

Here Come the Warm Jets is definitely one of my favorite albums ever, it's so unique and experimental, yet very catchy and accessible. Every time I listen to it there's a new dimension of enjoyment to be found!

He's both choice 1 and 2, but I'd say more 2 than 1. Eno is awesome.

I voted "influential Producer". I've heard that he's taken over albums by other people and overdubbed his own music, mixed it differently, changed songs around, etc. Very Influential indeed!!!

I'd say his influence as a producer outweighs his influence as a musician. But, both of the top two do apply.
