Does anyone know where I could hear the band Archaia or possibly purchase the album?  Also, what are your thoughts on this band?

You might have a little of trouble trying to find Archaia's single s/t album. I know they are on the Soleil Zeuhl label, but ran out of stock a while ago. Have a look on the site here:

Sometime they give you a list of places were it is still available. Either that or you are going to have to keep you eyes peels. I know the original vynil steels a nice price these days. I'm hoping someone can prove me wrong, as I would love to purchase a copy for myself as well.

My thoughts on the band, Amazing, to put it quite simply. Yet another release cementing why I love the Zeuhl genre so much. I know there are a few people on the site which are also quite fond of the band, so hopefully we can get a little bit of discussion going.

Unless you have 500 dollars burning your back pocket I would search for the cd. It's a brilliant work of art but definitely not to everyones taste. A hypnotic cross of Heldon, Magma, Cabaret Voltaire, Popol Vuh and easy listening. Try Soleil Zeuhl or Ultima Thule

Now I've heard a few of the tracks; they were amazing.  Great use of drones, very creative guitar work.  I hear a Spacemen 3-ness in this as well, maybe they picked something up from Archaia
