Sorry no idea, but Olav above posted that more than 900 were added up to that point. I don't know how he counted those, though, and while the number he gave isn't surprising, it is admirable.

Sorry 

I have just obtained a copy today of the two Mallard albums re-issued by Virgin Records in 1995. Since they were and still are the Magic Band of Captain Beefheart under another name, it seems strange to me that they are not included on this site whereas the Magic Band are. Perhaps they should be included?

There must be more musicians in the world than instruments ?
